Nagpur Orange (Citrus reticulata) is India's most celebrated mandarin, GI-tagged to the Nagpur region of Maharashtra. Sweet, juicy fruits with vibrant orange colour and easy-peel skin. Nagpur is called the "Orange City" due to this iconic crop. Trees yield 600–1,200 fruits per year at maturity. Strong domestic and export market demand. Best suited for semi-arid regions with black cotton soils.
