Coorg Orange (Citrus reticulata) is a distinctive mandarin variety native to the Kodagu (Coorg) region of Karnataka. Unique tangy-sweet flavour profile attributed to the Western Ghats' rich biodiversity and specific microclimate. GI-tag application pending. Trees thrive in hilly terrain (600–1,200m elevation) with well-drained laterite soils. Annual yield of 400–600 fruits per tree.
