Allspice (Pimenta dioica) is a unique tropical spice tree whose dried berries combine the flavours of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and pepper. India imports allspice worth ₹50+ crore annually, creating strong domestic cultivation potential. Evergreen tree producing 3–5 kg of dried berries per tree annually at maturity. Thrives in tropical and subtropical climates with partial shade and well-drained soil.
