Grafted Macadamia produces the world's most expensive commercial nut, retailing at ₹2,000–4,000/kg. Grafting reduces time-to-bearing from 8–10 years (seedling) to 4–5 years. Mature trees yield 20–30 kg of in-shell nuts annually. Premium crop with strong export demand in USA, Japan, and Europe. Suited for elevations of 700–1,500m in Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu hills.
